The Opportunity

In this exciting role, you'll be the mastermind behind our machine learning initiatives. You'll design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge models to solve complex problems, extract valuable insights from massive datasets, and ultimately transform our business decisions.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and Implement Predictive Models:

  • Design and implement advanced models like NLP (Natural Language Processing) or vision models to forecast key metrics like sales or customer churn.

  • Leverage machine learning to optimize customer experiences and business outcomes.

  • Build scalable and efficient models using machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.

• Data Preparation and Analysis:

  • Utilize advanced software programs and techniques to clean, integrate, and analyze large datasets for model training.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from complex data to drive informed decision-making.

  • Pinpoint manual processes and user behaviors ripe for automation or improvement through machine learning.

• Model Deployment and Interpretation:

  • Seamlessly deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their performance.

  • Apply statistical and mathematical modeling to build, maintain, and enhance real-time decision systems.

  • Translate complex model results into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across technical and business domains.

• Development and Documentation:

  • Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to company standards and integrates seamlessly with existing systems.

  • Implement code solutions based on generated code.

  • Ensure code adheres to data protection and security guidelines.

  • Accurately estimate task completion times and troubleshoot potential issues.

  • Develop comprehensive technical design documentation for all application code.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, understanding the business impact of research outcomes.

• Collaboration and Team Guidance:

  • Stay at the forefront of data science and machine learning by actively seeking new knowledge, applications, and tools.

  • Partner with technical and non-technical teams to create insightful dashboards for stakeholders.

  • Collaborate effectively on code reviews and deployments with other teams.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

  • Champion best practices in machine learning, code reviews, and project design.

  • Build an inclusive and collaborative environment that encourages knowledge-sharing and professional growth.

  • Oversee interactions with vendors and third-party service providers, collaborating on technical architecture design and implementation, and serving as a point of contact for technical issues.

  • Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders regarding vendor activities, updates, and challenges to facilitate smooth collaboration and decision-making.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science (required).

• 3-4+ years of experience in data science or machine learning (required).

• Strong experience in at least one of the following areas (a plus):

  • Vision models

  • NLP models (Arabic NLP experience highly desirable)

• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.

• Solid understanding of SQL and non-relational databases.

• Proven ability to generate data analytics reports.

• Experience with ML model development and deployment.
