Project Manager

Hapag-Lloyd, a leading global shipping company, is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Project Manager to join their CX Payment Solutions team!

The CX Payment Solutions team plays a vital role in developing and implementing digital solutions to optimize customer payment processes.

About the Role:

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of complex digital solution projects within the CX Payment Solutions team. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure project success, while also driving continuous improvement in sourcing and procurement activities.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and risks.

  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.

  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, developing mitigation strategies.

  • Facilitate project review meetings and communicate project outcomes to stakeholders.

  • Oversee project closure process, including finalizing deliverables and capturing lessons learned.

• Digital Solutions & Sourcing:

  • Analyze market trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in sourcing initiatives.

  • Evaluate supplier proposals, perform cost analyses, and recommend suppliers for digital solutions.

  • Work with stakeholders to ensure digital solutions comply with Hapag-Lloyd's policies and guidelines.

• Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments (Legal, Payment Services, IT).

  • Partner with stakeholders to manage contracts, service level agreements, and process alignment.

  • Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth transitions to new systems and processes.

• Communication & Training:

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate team members and users on new tools and processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in customer service or finance, with expertise in payment solutions.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager (PMP certification a plus).

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present complex data.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.

• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
