The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in the CIS MA program on Islamic theology and law.

• Contribute significantly to the College's research profile.

• Engage with stakeholders to address contemporary issues in Islamic Law.

• Assume leadership roles and manage research projects within the College.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Islamic Law, Islamic Legal Theory, or Sharia with a focus on contemporary societies, from an accredited university.

• 10+ years of university teaching experience with a proven record of scholarship.

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, student supervision, and curriculum development.

• Strong research record, publications, and grants commensurate with a Full Professor at a major research university.

• Renowned reputation in Islamic scholarship and established research networks.

• Ability to lead diverse teams and foster cross-cultural collaboration.

• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (English primary language of instruction).
