Job Description

Coordinate all efforts pertaining to planning designing constructing and managing facilities and their systems and responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures and ensure that its facilities systems and services support core operations and processes as well as contribute to achieving its strategic objectives.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and lifecycle requirements.

  • conduct and document regular facility inspections.

  • ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.

  • supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.

  • oversee facility renovations.

  • plan and manage facility central services such as reception security cleaning catering waste disposal and parking.

  • obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers.

  • calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize costeffectiveness.

  • negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and costsaving.

  • coordinate and monitor the activities of contract suppliers.

  • manage contractor and vendor relationships.

  • manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.

  • ensure delivery schedules quantity and quality criteria are met.

  • check completed work by contractors and vendors.

  • verify payment and invoicing match contract pricing.

  • ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff.

  • generate and present regular reports and reviews of facilityrelated budgets finances contracts.

  • develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.

  • oversee environmental health and safety.

  • provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants.

Minimum Qualification
Civil Engineering bachelor degree
Minimum Experience
2 years
