Web Graphics Designer

We are a small, highly skilled team looking for a talented and creative individual to join us in building a sophisticated rich web service. You will play a key role in the design process, collaborating closely with developers and the client to bring our vision to life.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI) for a modern web application.

• Translate wireframes and client requirements into user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing designs.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are feasible and meet technical constraints.

• Utilize your knowledge of HTML and CSS to create well-structured and maintainable code.

• Leverage your expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create high-quality design assets.

• Design website themes that integrate seamlessly with popular CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).

We are looking for someone with:

• 2+ years of experience designing web interfaces and web applications.

• 2+ years of experience hand-coding CSS and XHTML.

• Proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for digital design and illustration.

• A solid understanding of CSS and HTML limitations and the ability to create designs that consider these constraints.

• Experience with the 960-pixel grid system and Blueprint framework (a plus).

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating high-quality work.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• The ability to solve problems creatively and think critically.

• Experience with JavaScript/AJAX libraries like jQuery and jQuery UI (a plus).
