Maintenance Supervisor

This educational institute is seeking a qualified and experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the work of the institute's maintenance team, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks.

• Manage the setup of rooms and offices, including assisting with removal and relocation activities.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to security, fire safety, and health & safety.

• Be a member of the institute's critical incident team.

• Lead and manage change initiatives while minimizing disruption to core activities.

• Ensure buildings meet all health and safety requirements.

• Inspect work completed by staff or contractors and address any deficiencies.

• Guide, coordinate, and lead one or more maintenance teams across various areas.

• Utilize performance management techniques to monitor service levels and lead improvement efforts.

• Respond effectively to emergencies and urgent issues.

• Manage and maintain appropriate levels of maintenance inventory.

Skills:

• Strong ability to identify and mitigate health & safety risks.

• Hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for various equipment (e.g., pasteurizers, ovens, mixers).

• Ability to assemble, disassemble, and maintain hydraulic and electro-mechanical equipment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
