Job Description
The Sales Support Representative (SSR) serves as the primary point of contact for customers and collaborates with various departments to respond to inquiries. Working closely with the Sales leadership team, the SSR drives key initiatives to maximize sales bookings and opportunity pipelines. Utilizing data strategically, the SSR provides decision support, accurate sales quota forecasting, and sales productivity reporting and efficiency analysis.

Experience in sales or customer service in an engineered manufacturing environment, with success in administering commercial and/or government contracts.
Demonstrated ability to influence through effective collaboration, problem-solving, and relationship-building.
Lead coordination efforts for aftermarket quotes, ensuring close collaboration with stakeholders.
Review customer specifications and documents to apply Flowserve's technical and commercial requirements.
Drive daily tactical customer proposals and support strategic offerings and sales opportunities.
Partner with Site Hubs to optimize quotation performance and shorten parts delivery times.
Generate high-quality, timely, and value-priced proposals to facilitate order fulfillment.
Manage and monitor proposals throughout the bid cycle, updating designated workload management tools.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of pump applications and types.
Identify key actions to achieve forecast accuracy, addressing performance gaps.
Maintain accurate records of sales training and organization charts.
Ensure continuous improvement projects are executed to meet objectives.
Compile weekly sales reports and support sales forecasting processes.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
Excellent organizational skills, able to establish priorities and work to specific deadlines.
Your Profile:
Industry experience in pumps/rotating equipment.
Experience in customer relationship management in power generation and utility industries.
Familiarity with Sales Force and SAP.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 1-3 years of relevant experience.
