Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Responsibilities:

• Install, operate, maintain, and repair refrigeration equipment and associated control devices to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

• Utilize various measuring and testing instruments to diagnose issues in refrigeration components.

• Identify and source appropriate spare parts and consumables for repair and maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot malfunctioning refrigeration equipment and components to minimize downtime.

• Read technical manuals, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and control diagrams to plan and execute troubleshooting procedures.

• Perform welding, brazing, soldering, and pipe fitting tasks related to refrigeration equipment.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration plants, particularly within the food industry.

• Proficient in Sabro, Unisab III, SCADA, PLC, and BMS systems.

• Experience working on large or mega-sized refrigeration plants (preferred).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Diploma degree (3 years) or Specialized Certificate (2 years) in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of refrigeration and cooling systems, including large-sized air conditioning units.
