Accountabilities
As a strategic Leader, you will collaborate with our executive business leaders to define and implement the people strategy across multiple business areas. Your role will ensure alignment with our overall HR and business objectives. You will partner with our executive leaders to understand business priorities and provide HR insights to drive decisions in collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) as and when required.
Change Management: Lead the development and implementation of change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of organizational change, including but not limited to managing communication plans and resistance management efforts to support employees through transitions in collaboration with HR COEs as and when required.
Emiratisation: Collaborate with the Emiratisation team to drive the development and implementation of Emiratisation strategies, ensuring alignment with National objectives and fostering the growth of UAE Nationals within the organization.
Data & Metrics: Encourage and promote using HR data and metrics to inform decision-making, improve processes, and drive strategic initiatives within the organization.
Flexibility and Agility: Oversee evolving people's needs and issues in various businesses. Work closely with HR senior management to develop and apply agile, sustainable, and proactive strategies. * People Initiatives: secure commitment from the business to deliver on corporate objectives and initiatives within their operations and project remits, including but not limited to Emiratisation, diversity and inclusion, performance management, etc. Responsible for driving these outputs through multiple HR COEs.
Talent Management: Identification of and support in developing senior managers and teams, championing the development of a high-performance culture, talent management and succession planning, where feedback is openly communicated.
Building Connections: facilitate and promote increased engagement between the business and their dedicated HR support teams.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards. Partner with the HR policy team to mitigate risk and maintain a safe, fair, and equitable workplace for all employees. Maintain a close relationship with our Legal team to ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and standards.
Leading a team: Lead and provide guidance and support to a team of HR professionals, including our National Development team, to enable the delivery of a high-quality HR service to their respective business units. Promote and model a feedback culture within the team and ensure annual performance reviews are conducted promptly.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
12+ years’ of relevant experience, 7 years of which should be in a senior management role, preferably within the airline industry or a large multinational organisation.
Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is preferred.
Expertise in change management, organisational design, structural reviews, and job sizing.
Proven ability to influence senior leadership and balance business needs with corporate requirements.
