Job Description
As a Reservations and Outstations Consultant at Emirates Holidays, your primary responsibility is to provide consultancy and advisory services to both internal and external customers regarding travel destinations, products, and services. You will engage with customers via face-to-face, electronic, and telephone communication channels, addressing enquiries and tailoring travel packages to meet their needs. Additionally, promoting Emirates Holidays destinations and products, facilitating bookings, and ensuring seamless travel arrangements are key aspects of the role.
Job Outline:
Generic:
Provide consultancy and advisory services to customers on destinations, products, bookings, and travel-related information through various communication channels.
Understand customer needs, conduct research, and utilize specialized knowledge to create customized travel packages.
Draft travel itineraries and quotations, facilitate bookings, and ensure timely delivery of all travel documents to customers.
Implement sales strategies to promote and sell Emirates Holidays destinations and products.
Handle travel payments in accordance with Emirates Holidays operating procedures.
Provide recommendations to supervisors for the development of new travel destinations and products based on research, travel experiences, and customer feedback.
Stay updated on Emirates Holidays destinations and products, attend familiarization trips, and represent the company at external events as directed.
Operations:
Serve as the primary contact point for final payments and ensure accuracy in processed bookings.
Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy of processed bookings and address any discrepancies with the responsible Consultant.
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial/sales or tours (inbound) within the travel or tourism sector.
High school diploma or equivalent education; preferably educated in a business or tourism-related field.
Demonstrable knowledge of travel destinations and a commitment to ongoing self-development in this area.
Familiarity with sales strategies for promoting and selling destinations and products.
Proficiency in languages besides English, especially Arabic, is advantageous.
Must have the right to live and work in Kuwait.
