Retail Services Coordinator

Emirates Airline is seeking a highly organized and motivated Duty-Free Operations Supervisor to join their team in Dubai!

Summary:

This role supports the Retail Services Manager in overseeing all aspects of duty-free operations to maximize sales and profitability. You will be responsible for establishing control procedures, maintaining administrative systems, developing relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring efficient product delivery and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Implement effective management controls for daily, monthly, and annual sales figures, stock control procedures, and product movement analysis.

• Ensure smooth operations by collaborating with all relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain administrative controls to maximize sales and achieve annual targets.

• Build strong relationships and work closely with Emirates Flight Catering, Supply Chain, and dnata logistics for seamless operation management.

• Train Emirates Flight Catering staff on Retail Sales Service Systems (cart packing, dangerous goods handling, etc.).

• Coordinate with the supply chain team for error-free and on-time product deliveries.

• Assist the Retail Services Manager and team in developing, strategizing, and executing business plans and budgets.

• Create/improve supply chain procedures and ensure cross-functional department compliance.

• Prepare receipts, credit notes, and debit notes for all inventory transactions (onboard and pre-order channels).

• Conduct year-end stock counts and update systems with stock movements and adjustments.

• Lead the supply chain network to maximize profits through service, inventory management, demand and supply planning, waste minimization, packing accuracy, product safety, and certification.

• Oversee key stakeholders to ensure accurate recording of onboard sales transactions and inventory management in the back-end system.

• Update packing charts, determine stock levels, and place orders for new products during season changes.

• Review, update, and implement current administrative procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in In-Flight Service/In-flight Administration (required).

• Minimum 12 years of schooling or equivalent (required).

• Preferred qualifications:

  • Airline experience with strong administrative skills.

  • Proficiency in various PC packages (MS Word, Excel, Email Access, general office systems).

  • Working knowledge of airline procedures and business administration.

  • Sound knowledge of duty-free retail activities.

• High degree of confidentiality, excellent interpersonal skills, and self-motivation to achieve sales targets and profitability.
