Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Lead the development and execution of account strategies and cultivate strong relationships with new key accounts and distributors at all levels.

  • Business Development:

    • Create pre-sales activities to generate new business opportunities.

    • Partner with clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly, acting as a trusted advisor to convert inquiries into sales.

    • Collaborate closely with customers to ensure timely and smooth product delivery to their preferred destinations.

  • Marketing & Communication: Develop and deliver compelling sales collateral to resonate with various levels of an organization, promoting new offers and key messages.

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Generate new business leads through prospecting, networking, and following up on leads generated internally. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and recommending products and services that meet their needs.

  • Sales Performance & Reporting:

    • Drive achievement and exceed sales targets.

    • Maintain accurate CRM records of all sales activities, including calls, presentations, closed deals, and follow-up steps, to effectively manage the sales pipeline.

    • Generate weekly reports that detail sales efforts, current market conditions, and other relevant information to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs.

    • Investigate and resolve customer challenges effectively.

    • Recommend new products and brands within the region to increase sales and brand awareness.

    • Delegate tasks strategically to optimize team performance.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and lead a team of coordinators, providing them with market training and collaborating to develop a plan to achieve shared goals. Motivate, coach, and mentor your team to ensure their success.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (Master's degree a plus).

  • Fluency in Arabic and English languages is mandatory (French language a plus).

  • A minimum of 5+ years of consultative sales experience across the Middle East & Africa region, ideally in a regional sales role, is essential.

  • Proven experience selling FMCG and consumer products to multinational and/or trading/distributor companies is required.

  • A demonstrated track record of success in a business development/revenue-generating role.

  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets and a mindset for entrepreneurial growth.

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, with the ability to negotiate, explain, and present products and ideas clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.

  • A true team player who prioritizes the company's success.

  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must. CRM experience is preferred.
