Director Supply Chain Management

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Contract, Procurement & Logistics strategy for the contract and any follow on work

• Conduct make/buy analysis of the company scope of work and implement approved outcome

• Subcontracting strategies to include risk mitigation and cost optimization strategies

• Establish and manage required subcontracts within the group entities for product and service delivery

• Establish and manage required subcontracts with external providers for program logistics.

• Develop reporting metrics for all suppliers and establish regular cadence for contract performance reviews including quality standard and on time delivery performance

• Conduct supplier audits on site as required

• Support program reporting reviews with the Program Director

• Manage the bidding process and formulation of the documentation, bidding, contracting and negotiation of subcontracts

• Support other Supply Chain activity or initiatives for the Cluster as required

• Manage employees in the department in performing their delegated tasks

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor degree in Business Management, preferably Master degree in Business Management or equivalent

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in public or private sector organization

• Preferably defense services experience in a supply chain function
