Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end store operations, including staffing, scheduling, ordering, inbound receiving, stocking, picking orders, packing orders, and expense control within operational standards.
Coordinate and supervise store operations, such as selecting staff, scheduling shifts, and routine/preventive maintenance.
Ensure efficient utilization of pickers with multitasking roles to optimize UTRs (Utilization Rate).
Order/store replenishment: Assess inventory and issue orders based on demand planner input and physical stock assessment to maintain proper stock levels and prevent out-of-stock (OOS) or overstock (OVS) situations.
Inventory management: Implement inventory processes to maintain accurate stock levels and effective stock control practices.
Ensure accurate inbound receiving of orders according to policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Conduct efficient and accurate picking and packing of customer orders as per SOPs.
Continuously monitor fulfillment processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and profits.
Supervise assigned store to ensure profitability, provide good service, and facilitate employee development.
Manage store personnel effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization and meeting service level standards.
Monitor, manage, and control costs against the budget to maximize cost-effectiveness of store operations.
Implement actions to address store-related shrinkages.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment, infrastructure, and facilities in stores.
Supervise implementation of hygiene, sanitation, security, and safety standards, as well as service level standards, to ensure high-level customer service internally and externally.
Discuss store issues/problems with the Ops manager and propose solutions.
Supervise maintenance activities, including internal tasks and third-party suppliers.
Ensure appropriate and safe use of material handling equipment.
Requirements for Success:
5-7 years of experience in supermarket or restaurant management.
Thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy continuous learning.
Excellent communication skills and comfortable using various tools.
Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
Fluent in English, with Arabic proficiency being highly advantageous.
