The Opportunity:

In this exciting role, you'll join Cundall's Riyadh team and lead on some of the most groundbreaking sustainable projects in the MENA region and beyond. You'll work closely with the Head of Sustainability MENA, developing your expertise in sustainability, project management, and building physics. You'll also play a key role in business development, promoting Cundall's innovative services and expanding their reach in the local market.

What You'll Do:

• Sustainability Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a variety of sustainability and building physics projects.

  • Develop comprehensive energy and sustainability strategies for buildings and businesses.

  • Assist with business development initiatives and industry leadership efforts.

  • Manage client relationships and ensure successful project delivery.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on building performance, operational energy optimization, certifications, and net-zero carbon strategies.

  • Conduct building physics modelling and analyses to optimize energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across various disciplines (engineering, architecture, etc.).

  • Prepare effective presentations and reports to clearly communicate complex sustainability concepts to clients.

  • Manage and mentor junior staff, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented team environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a Built Environment discipline.

• Minimum 12-16 years of experience in ESD consulting within the built environment sector, with a proven track record in KSA.

• LEED AP, Mostadam AP, PMP (or equivalent), and experience with other sustainability certifications (LEED, WELL, Estidama, GSAS, BREEAM).

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage projects, teams, and client relationships effectively.

• In-depth knowledge of building physics, passive design strategies, and building performance modelling.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.

• Experience with business development activities, RFPs, and techno-commercial proposals.

• Solid understanding of relevant industry codes in KSA and the region, with a financial/commercial acumen.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to achieving net-zero carbon goals.
