IT Support Engineer

A leading technology company in Dammam, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in providing technical support for hardware and software issues. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing timely and effective support to end users, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to technical support requests from end users and provide timely resolution to hardware and software issues.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and provide appropriate solutions.

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

• Ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and servers.

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Perform routine system backups and ensure data integrity.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.

• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new systems and technologies.

• Provide training and support to end users on software and hardware usage.

• Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to provide effective support and recommendations.

Preferred Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support roles.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.

• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.

• Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems.

• Experience in managing Active Directory and Group Policy.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
