Job Description
Responsibilities:
Data Management & Reporting:
Collect and extract data from the AFC (Automated Fare Collection) system daily and share it with relevant stakeholders.
Generate and collate revenue reports from all stations and publish various reports regularly.
Perform daily cross-checking of reports from stations and car parks (physical counts may be required).
Prepare stock reports regularly and assist senior staff in maintaining adequate stock levels.
Financial Reconciliation & Accuracy:
Audit, track, and ensure revenue from stations is properly accounted for and reconciled.
Conduct daily cash reconciliations for all stations.
Reconcile manual revenue reports, system reports, and Cash Collection Company (CCC) reports.
Reconcile reports between AFC Level 1 and AFC Level 3.
Regularly review and implement measures to minimize surplus and loss at stations.
Fraud Prevention & Auditing:
Ensure cash floats at stations are intact and review requirements periodically.
Conduct regular audits to prevent fraudulent activity in ticket offices and car parks.
Be responsible for the operational level of audit.
Highlight any discrepancies between reported station cash and Cash Collection Company reports.
Customer Service & Support:
Manage all revenue complaints by providing valid feedback based on daily reconciliations, cash collection reports, and bank reports.
Collaboration & Support:
Assist the AFC Specialist with assigned tasks and other duties as instructed by management.
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Basic understanding of station operations and associated activities.
In-depth knowledge of AFC Systems and AFC reports analysis.
Mature, proactive, and responsible approach to work with initiative and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and IT skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably 2 years in a related field.
