Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a warm, engaging, and educational environment for preschool-aged children. This role involves planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering social, emotional, and cognitive growth, and building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Planning and Implementation:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and the developmental needs of children.

• Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and materials to stimulate learning and curiosity.

• Foster a love of learning through play-based and experiential activities.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe and valued.

• Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline techniques.

• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained.

• Monitor and assess the developmental progress of each child.

• Provide individualized support and encouragement to help each child reach their full potential.

• Work closely with other teachers, staff, and administration to create a cohesive educational experience.

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
