Pastry Chef

The Pastry Chef plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pastry production process. You'll be responsible for supervising and guiding the team, maintaining high quality standards, and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Develop Your Team:

  • Train team members on essential pastry techniques and hygiene protocols.

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective leadership.

• Maintain Safety and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment.

  • Uphold company and HACCP standards, managing and reporting on relevant documentation.

• Optimize Cost Control:

  • Minimize waste and implement cost-control measures to meet budget forecasts.

  • Manage and monitor monthly inventory levels, addressing discrepancies as needed.

• Deliver High-Quality Pastries:

  • Craft exceptional pastries that adhere to established recipes and brand standards.

  • Oversee raw materials and production processes, ensuring quality and freshness.

• Ensure Timely Deliveries:

  • Fulfill daily pastry requests for shops, adhering to requisition orders and guidelines.

• Drive Innovation:

  • Conduct research and propose new product ideas to enhance brand offerings and sales targets.

  • Share innovative concepts with your team for collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Technical Degree in Food and Beverage / Hospitality Management (preferred)

• 3-5 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 1 year in a similar supervisory role

• Fluency in English
