Planner Cost Controller

We are looking for a Planner Cost Controller to join our team in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. As a Planner Cost Controller, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules and cost control systems for our organization. You will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in project planning and cost control, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain project schedules using project management software.

• Monitor project progress and update schedules as necessary.

• Identify and analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Track project costs and compare them to budgeted amounts.

• Prepare cost reports for project stakeholders.

• Collaborate with project managers to develop cost estimates for new projects.

• Assist in the development and implementation of cost control procedures.

• Review and validate contractor invoices.

• Provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with project management and cost control standards.

Preferred Candidate:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project planning and cost control.

• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Knowledge of cost control principles and techniques.

• Experience working in the construction industry is preferred.

• Knowledge of Saudi Arabia's construction regulations and standards is a plus.
