Job Description

AUAF is seeking a passionate and experienced Coordinator to oversee Student Support and Success Services!

About AUAF:

Founded in 2006, AUAF is a private, non-profit university offering an American-style liberal arts education to over 1,000 students.

Position Summary:

You'll play a key role in enhancing the student experience by leading various initiatives and ensuring student support and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Student Support:

    • Develop and deliver high-quality student programs focused on diversity, inclusion, and student success.

    • Oversee student conduct processes, including policy development and revisions.

    • Manage student support services such as mental health resources.

    • Collaborate with QF Housing to ensure student connection, engagement, and well-being in residence.

    • Teach first-year seminars as needed.

  • Program Management:

    • Oversee Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) like sports clubs and the Student Government Association.

    • Develop and manage alumni engagement initiatives.

    • Organize programs promoting cultural awareness and adaptation.

    • Lead graduation and student award ceremonies in collaboration with AUAF and external partners.

    • Provide event planning training to students.

    • Manage departmental assessments, budgets, and activities.

    • Submit reports to USAID.

    • Oversee student rosters, organizations, and manuals.

    • Serve on various committees.

  • Communication:

    • Create and maintain online resources for the Student Success website.

    • Represent AUAF with partners like QF Housing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience in Student Affairs or Student Success.

  • Knowledge of academic policies and procedures.

  • Understanding of student development theories and best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality.

  • Knowledge of student conduct and discipline.

  • Professional demeanor.

  • Proficiency in computer and Microsoft Office programs.
