Kindergarten Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our kindergarten program. You will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children can develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons that introduce children to basic skills such as color, shape, number, and letter recognition.

• Establish and enforce classroom rules and routines to promote a safe and positive learning environment.

• Observe and assess students' progress in all areas of development, including academic performance, behavior, social skills, and physical health.

• Provide differentiated instruction to cater to individual student needs and learning styles.

• Foster a love of reading by reading stories aloud and encouraging independent exploration of books.

• Demonstrate engaging activities and experiments to spark children's curiosity and creativity.

• Set up and maintain learning centers with a variety of materials and resources to encourage exploration, play, and development.

• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other professionals to address student needs and ensure their success.

• Develop clear learning objectives for all lessons and communicate them effectively to students.

• Organize and lead a variety of activities that promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, music, arts and crafts, and storytelling.

• Identify children who may be experiencing challenges and work with relevant professionals to provide support.

• Prepare learning environments that encourage creativity, exploration, and safe play both indoors and outdoors.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop, evaluate, and enhance the kindergarten curriculum.

• Administer and grade assessments to measure student learning and progress.

• Involve parent volunteers and older students in classroom activities to enrich the learning experience.

Qualifications:

• Teaching qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required).

• Prior experience teaching kindergarten is preferred (highly preferred).

• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi (required).

• Strong commitment to child development and a passion for early learning (required).

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills (required).

• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude (required).
