Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver undergraduate courses in Highway/Transportation Engineering.

• Effectively guide and mentor students throughout their academic journey.

• Teach a variety of specialized courses in General Engineering mechanics and statistics (a plus: construction management and other Civil Engineering specializations).

• Conduct high-quality research and publish in prestigious journals.

• Collaborate on curriculum development and course management, ensuring alignment with university standards.

• Contribute actively to college and university initiatives through proposals and projects.

• Support and participate in local and international accreditation efforts.

• Prepare students for successful careers in the local, regional, and international context.

• Foster positive and supportive relationships with students.

• Participate in community engagement activities that benefit AAU and the local community.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from a reputable international university, specializing in Highway/Transportation Engineering.

• Proven record of teaching excellence at the university level (2+ years of experience).

• Research published in Scopus-indexed journals.

• Commitment to professional development and curriculum renewal.

• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken Arabic and English.

• Proficiency in using technology for education (presentations, e-learning systems, reports).

• Willingness to contribute to the university and college through various services.
