Job Description
Responsibilities:
Respond to reports of faults within the low voltage network.
Identify the source of electrical faults through investigation and testing.
Address minor faults such as replacing blown fuses and MCCBs (up to 100 amps).
Coordinate with jointers to safely execute demolition requests involving low voltage networks.
Evaluate customer complaints to determine if the issue originates within the customer's premises or the LV network.
Record and report LV equipment loads to technicians and LV engineers.
Ensure voltage levels stay within the acceptable range set by AADC (Abu Dhabi Distribution Company).
Disconnect faulty LV equipment by safely removing fuses from cables.
Identify circuits causing domestic leakage currents and make necessary disconnections to prevent further issues.
Perform other related duties as assigned by technicians and LV engineers.
Qualifications:
Technical school diploma in electrical engineering or a related field (required).
Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field, such as electrical maintenance or LV network operations (required).
Basic proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic (required).
