We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Supervisor of Maintenance in the Agriculture sector to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Supervisor of Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our agriculture facilities. You will ensure that all equipment and machinery are in optimal working condition and that repairs are carried out promptly to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and according to established guidelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of our agriculture facilities.

2. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

3. Inspect equipment and machinery to identify any issues or potential problems.

4. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and resource availability.

5. Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.

6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.

8. Train and mentor maintenance technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.

9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions.

10. Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure availability when needed.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Prior experience in a similar role in the agriculture sector is preferred.

2. Degree or diploma in agricultural engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

3. Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and techniques.

4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.

5. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

6. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

7. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Proficient in the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

10. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
