Supervisor maintenance Agriculture

We're seeking a highly motivated Supervisor of Maintenance to join our team in Dubai, UAE! In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our agricultural facilities.

The Opportunity

You'll oversee all aspects of maintenance, leading a team of technicians and ensuring equipment and machinery are in top condition. From developing maintenance plans to managing repairs and prioritizing tasks, you'll be responsible for minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities within our agricultural facilities.

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize disruptions.

• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and equipment problems before they arise.

• Prioritize maintenance tasks effectively, considering urgency, resource availability, and operational impact.

• Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and agricultural infrastructure.

• Enforce safety regulations and cultivate a safe working environment for your team and yourself.

• Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.

• Train and mentor your maintenance technicians, fostering their skills and knowledge development.

• Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions.

• Manage a well-organized inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring availability when needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Supervisor of Maintenance or similar role in the agriculture sector (preferred).

• Hold a degree or diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Possess a strong understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and best practices.

• Demonstrate exceptional leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide your team.

• Adept at prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and meeting deadlines.

• A strong problem-solver with excellent decision-making abilities.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately under pressure.

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Proficient in the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) (a plus).

• Working knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
