Irrigation Engineer

Responsibilities:

* Conduct site surveys to assess irrigation needs and identify potential challenges

• Design efficient and sustainable irrigation systems, taking into account factors such as soil type, climate, and plant water requirements

• Create detailed irrigation plans, including pipe layout, valve placement, and sprinkler head specifications

• Collaborate with landscape architects and other professionals to integrate irrigation systems into overall landscape designs

• Prepare cost estimates and project proposals for irrigation projects

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems

• Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules to optimize water usage and plant health

• Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards

Preferred Candidate:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Proven experience as an Irrigation Engineer or similar role

• Knowledge of irrigation system design principles and practices

• Proficient in using irrigation design software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Valid driver's license
