Job Description

AGRANA Fruit stands for fruitful innovation, high quality, best service and qualified employees. To strengthen our local teams in Yalova-Turkey, we are looking for a dedicated personality in the following position: Quality Specialist. The position will report directly to Quality Manager.


Qualifications

  • University degree in a reputable University preferably in Food, Agriculture or Industrial Engineering,

  • Having good knowledge and experienced in food safety & quality management systems (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000), religious certifications (halal and kosher) process knowledge will be an asset,

  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English,

  • Minimum 5 years experiences in Quality department in food industry (quality management and/or agronomy at fruit processing sector is preferable),

  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including SAP,

  • Analytical, organizational and time management skills,

  • Positive, self - motivated, proactive, team player, dynamic,

  • Maintaining emotional stability under difficult circumstances and high pressure,

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish relationships both internally and externally,

  • Ability to take the initiative,

  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities,

  • Attention to detail,

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

  • Experience with FMEA, Process Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions will be an asset,

  • Live/Willing to live in or close to Karamürsel, Gölcük, Altınova, Yalova,

  • Having driving license and no restriction for travelling (both domestic and foreign).

Job Description

  • Implement, update and monitor instructions and methods for quality control and quality assurance in cooperation with the Quality Manager in order to meet internal and external quality specifications, customer requirements and legal regulations,

  • Develop specification for raw materials / finished goods in coordination with the supply chain and R&D departments based on national and European standards as well as standards of the group quality management,

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships from a quality perspective,

  • Responsible for handling of customers’ complaints/requests, analyzing of reasons, and prepare answers and action plan for the customers for all quality related issues,

  • Organize and execute the quality audits of all departments of the plant. Analyzing audit results and ensure implementation of actions if needed,

  • Put pressure on suppliers to provide raw materials with the requested analysis results and conforming to the specifications,

  • Coordination and conduction of supplier audits together with Quality Manager. To evaluate audit results, define supplier specific development needs, and prepare supplier development master plan including root cause analysis corrective actions,

  • Monitor performance of new and existing suppliers to ensure suppliers meet specifications and deliver according to AGRANA specifications, ensure suppliers use quality tools effectively,

  • Responsible for daily operation in terms of Quality Assurance related issues,

  • Follow-up of KPI’s and improvement of the processes,

  • Prepare timely internal and external reports on AGRANA Group or customer level,

  • Capable of preparation and presentation of training programs for colleagues and suppliers, as necessities of the continuous quality improvement,

  • Willingness to travel to develop suppliers and to support colleagues wherever needed.
