As a Systems Support Engineer, you will get the opportunity to participate in our commercial projects and work with our hardware and software integrated in our docking control and monitoring system.

This position involves working at one of the largest, busiest, and most advanced airports in the world. As an ADB Safegate representative you will be constantly trained and completely empowered to face Airport customer(s) and providers of other systems to ensure seamless airport stand operations. You will be reviewing records of most advanced AVDGS and Apron management applications, finding opportunities to improve airport stand turnaround and help airports achieve the operational objectives. Coordinate with internal R&D to solve issues and add your contribution in further development of ADB Safegate bespoke products and services.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Troubleshooting

• Log analyzing and root cause analysis

• Testing our advanced airport solutions and systems

• Handle support related matters, both hardware and software, towards our customers

• Train our clients on how to use the systems

You will be expected to travel in this role.

• This position also offers various forms of collaborative involvement, knowledge building and opportunity to support of over 550 airports in 70 countries that are covered by ADB Safegate Middle East and Africa region.

Education & Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree within IT or Computer/Electrotechnic Engineering or relevant

• Experience from the aviation industry in airport AOCC/Engineering/AODB

Skills required

• Networking and programming knowledge (C,C++)

• 2+ years Dockers and Kubernetes experience (1-2 years)

• GIT hub

• Linux and Windows admin level

• 1 year experience working on cloud services (Azure/AWS etc.) 

• Data base experience is an added advantage 

• Experience with TCP/IP networking

• Typescript/Javascript

• DB experience on administration level (PostgreSQL is a plus)

• Collaboration software (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
