Job Description
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
Act as an advocate for an Agile culture in the Bank by promoting the Agile principles, values and practices, facilitating learning and development through individual and team coaching, in order to develop an Agile culture that encourages cross functional collaboration.
Guide teams to help them stay on track with Agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is achieved.
Lead Agile workshops for both development and functional teams, as well as key stakeholders, to ensure an adoption of Agile best practices
Support assigned business unit in defining Agile programs, scoping the comprising projects and their prioritization and lead the program and project delivery team to ensure executed in line with the agreed objectives.
Monitor project progress and take corrective actions to ensure projects remain on track and achieve agreed deadlines
Receive change demands from assigned business units and detail and qualify demands with relevant stakeholders in order to arrive at a feasible disposition, Statement of Requirements (SER), project or major task.
Determine and propose alternate ways of fulfilling the demand without initiating a system change and influence to remove any bottlenecks in demand qualification or fulfilment to ensure business initiator satisfaction in line with the required standards.
Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance.
Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximize overall performance, engagement and motivation
Contribute to the preparation of the business area’s budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon-
Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products and innovation.-
Identify opportunities to contribute to organizational and departmental change initiatives, programs and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment-
Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
Skills
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
- Bachelor’s degree is a mandatory requirement
- computing, engineering or business administration.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as an Agile Coach gained in either project management, product management, IT, or software development.
- Scrum Coach certification- Scrum Master certification- Experience in Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)
- Experience running agile projects of varying size and complexity
- Can showcase examples of implementing agile techniques in different cultures and environments
- Ability to manage a complex portfolio of multiple projects and overlaps
- Good understanding of agile tools like Plainview and Jira
Ras Al Khaimah is one of seven emirates that joined to form the United Arab Emirates on December 2, 1971, with Ras Al Khaimah joining the UAE on February 10, 1972. Over time, several historical and archaeological sites have been discovered throughout the emirate – dating from different time periods, including remnants of the Umm an-Nar Culture (3rd millennium BC). As recently as October 2012, ancient graves were found in the Emirate Today, the emirate boasts many heritage and tourism sites and is also considered the most fertile agricultural land amongst all the emirates. Thus, in addition to an active tourism sector, Ras Al Khaimah also had a vibrant industrial sector. With many widespread development plans in the pipeline, Ras Al Khaimah has an ambitious vision and looks forward to a promising future teeming with development and excellence.
